Trademark notice

The absence of a product or service trademark or logo from this list does not constitute a waiver of trademark or other intellectual property rights of Blackline Safety Corp. concerning that trademark or logo.

Trademark policy
This Trademark Usage Policy outlines the correct use of trademarks and logos (collectively “Trademarks”) of Blackline Safety Corp. (“Blackline”) by our licensees, authorized resellers, and other parties who have received Blackline’s permission to use Blackline’s Trademarks in their promotional materials, instructional materials, websites, packaging, labels, or other mediums. This policy is designed to protect our valuable trademark rights. If you are a licensee of any Blackline Trademarks or an authorized reseller of Blackline products and have specific trademark usage guidelines in your agreement with us, please adhere to those guidelines.

When referencing Blackline Trademarks, always include the proper notation after the name and logo, as indicated above. Always use the complete Trademark in all communications. Never abbreviate a Blackline Trademark to form an acronym. When using a Blackline Trademark, do not alter the spelling, add or remove hyphens, combine two words into one, or split one word into two. Do not combine Blackline Trademarks with your or any third-party names or trademarks. Blackline logos may only be used under a separate written license from Blackline (note: I don’t think we require this of distributors). Blackline Trademarks may not be used as part of the product name for any third-party product. Products may be co-branded with a Blackline mark only by written agreement with Blackline. By using a Blackline Trademark, you acknowledge that Blackline is the owner of all rights, title, and interest in the Trademark, that all use of the Blackline Trademark benefits Blackline, that you will not interfere with or challenge Blackline’s rights in the Trademark, and that you will not use the Blackline Trademark in a way that violates any law or harms the Blackline brand. No person or entity may reproduce or use (or authorize the reproduction or use of) any Blackline Trademark in any manner other than expressly authorized by Blackline.

Policy regarding unsolicited idea submissions
Please do not provide to Blackline or its personnel any unsolicited suggestions for products, enhancements, technologies, innovations, product names, marketing strategies, taglines, etc. (“submissions”), irrespective of your perception of their novelty, quality, or originality. This policy is designed to prevent potential conflicts or confusion over intellectual property rights. If you choose to send us a submission, despite our request not to do so, then regardless of any statements, writings, or recordings you make to the contrary regarding your submission, you agree that: (1) your submission and its contents will automatically become Blackline’s property, without any remuneration to you; (2) Blackline has the right to use, replicate, alter, publish, or disseminate the submission and its contents in any manner and for any purpose; (3) Blackline is under no obligation to evaluate the submission; and (4) neither Blackline nor any of its employees are required to maintain the confidentiality of the submission.
