NEW FEATURES IN 2024!

What's AlertLink?

Harness even more protection (with less work and operational costs) for your most remote sites and facilities.

Thanks to new capabilities we’ve got in the works, enriched safety and efficiency are on their way through proximity-based warning alerts, enhanced EXO port configurations, and automatic bump tests and calibrations.

AlertLink Proximity-Based Warning Alerts (EXO and G7C)

Harness rapid communication during incidents
AlertLink is a proximity-based safety communication feature that works by sharing real-time alerts with nearby active devices (other G7cs and EXOS) during high urgency events—like high-gas, no-motion or falls. The result? Expedited field level response for at risk workers, streamlined evacuations, and a more robust fence line gas monitoring network.

Watch a quick video now to understand how AlertLink could benefit your operations. Note: AlertLink is only available on EXO and G7c devices and to customers with alert management enabled on self or Blackline monitored service plans.

AlertLink Key Benefits

Interconnected Fence Line Network: Connects EXO area gas monitors along your site’s perimeter, creating a cohesive safety net. If one monitor detects a hazard, all units within the radius (customizable up to 5,000 meters) are instantly alarmed, ensuring all nearby workers stay safe.

Streamlined Evacuations: Ensures rapid evacuation by instantly notifying workers on their G7c devices of the need to evacuate, eliminating the need for manual alerts, and speeding up response times.

Proximity-based Assistance: Sends immediate alerts to nearby workers if someone is in distress, enabling a fast, informed response to any incident.

Effortless Setup: Activates on your existing and new G7c and EXO devices via an over- the-air firmware update and a single click on Blackline Live. No additional software required!

Efficient Operations: Monitor gas levels and manage AlertLink messages remotely in real-time from any location, without the need for on-site personnel, through the Blackline Live platform.

Enhanced Port Configurations (EXO)

Experience Enhanced Flexibility: The two external ports on the EXO area gas monitor are being enhanced with flexible configurations to help you better tie in EXO to your existing site operations, including seamless connections with existing warning systems such as lights, sirens, gates and more.

Key Benefits:

  • Enhanced Power Options—apply or remove power to the EXO port.
  • Tailored Trigger Options—customize activations of both ports from AlertLink messages, low and high gas alerts on device, mass notifications or text messages.

Automatic Bump Test and Calibration (EXO)

Boost Compliance With Less Operational Strain: Compliance maintenance on gas detection equipment is a time consuming, yet essential component of fleet management. Properly calibrated and bump tested devices ensure the sensors detecting hazardous gas levels are functioning properly and reporting accurate gas readings.

Compliance maintenance on remote sites is especially strenuous on operational budgets and workforce personnel, and consequently is generally contracted out to third parties.

Automatic bump tests and calibration on the EXO significantly reduces this strain.

Key Benefits:

  • Improved compliance metrics—a bump test or calibration is performed right when it is due, significantly boosting compliance.
  • Reduced operational costs—eliminate third-party contracting of device maintenance.
  • Enhanced safety—automated compliance reduces the risk to personnel responsible for performing compliance maintenance.

Note: At launch, this service will only be available on EXOs with a standard 4-gas configuration (LEL, O2, CO, H2S).
