Bringing You Blackline Safety Europe’s Best Autumn Yet

Blackline SafetyLeader in Connected Gas Detection & Lone Worker Safety September 12, 2022

blackline-safety-europe-officeThe business of connected safety certainly didn’t slow down at Blackline over the summer. In fact, we’re busier than ever and have some exciting business updates to pass along. From new deals to award wins to investor confidence in our growth, the momentum keeps building as we prepare to launch our new product, G6, this autumn.

Good News Travels Fast

News of Severn Trent Water’s programme — replacing its existing gas detection units with more than 2,600 Blackline Safety G7c wearable devices and associated services — brought international coverage in the likes of Channel Daily News, WorldWater Magazine, International Environmental Technology Magazine, Manufacturing and Engineering Magazine, The OGM, The Calgary Herald and many more.

The deal sees Severn Trent Water kicking off the implementation of a connected safety programme to the value of $2 million CAN and follows our ongoing partnerships with major UK water authorities including Yorkshire Water, Dwr Cymru Welsh Water and Northern Ireland Water. Upon completion of this latest deployment, Blackline Safety will protect over 10,000 workers across half of the UK’s water and wastewater authorities.

Executing With Confidence

On 31st August, Blackline closed a $25 million bought deal and private placement financing. This deal signals both investor confidence in our business – it was oversubscribed! – and provides Blackline with additional financial stability as we continue to adapt in a dynamic environment, while optimising the efficiency of our operations for a new phase of sustainable growth.

Our Commitment to Sustainability

Blackline Safety Europe is proud to be partnering with Auditel, a leading team of carbon footprint consultants who will expedite our journey to becoming Carbon Neutral. With a target of 2023 in mind to achieve the BSI specification for carbon neutrality, we will be reducing our carbon emissions by working with low carbon suppliers and solutions, as well as refining our current processes while we continue to drive growth in the region.
