Company named to 2025 Report on Business annual Women Lead Here list

Calgary, Canada Blackline Safety Corp. (TSX: BLN), a global leader in connected safety technology, today announced it has been named to the 2025 Women Lead Here list. Published by The Globe & Mail’s Report on Business magazine, Women Lead Here is an annual benchmark that identifies Canadian businesses with the highest executive gender diversity.

Blackline ranked among 93 companies, with women comprising 43% of its C-suite and 33% of overall leadership including its vice president positions.

"This recognition reflects Blackline’s intentional approach to building an inclusive organization where diverse perspectives drive innovation," said Cody Slater, CEO and Chair of Blackline Safety. "At Blackline, we're committed to challenging those norms because we understand that addressing systemic barriers takes deliberate action and ongoing commitment. We've seen firsthand how diverse teams make better decisions and deliver stronger business outcomes," Slater added.

Report on Business magazine’s Women Lead Here benchmark, now in its sixth year, was created by evaluating over 500 publicly traded companies with annual revenues greater than $50 million. Several criteria were assessed including the percentage of female-identifying individuals in the top three tiers of executive management (CEO; C-suite; EVP or equivalent). Women Lead Here benchmarks female representation in Canadian executive leadership using a weighted formula that factors in company performance, diversity and year-to-year change.
